Safety and Care.

Everyone  at Wicklow Dental are grateful to all of our patients for their patience and understanding during this difficult time. 

We have always followed exemplary protocol in relation to Cross Infection Control in order to maintain the highest of standards for your safety and care.

However, Covid 19 has given the world a new challenge and we have implemented new measures to ensure safety for both patients and staff members.

1.) We have set up clear protocols and guidelines for all staff members to follow. This ensures that each individual is operating in a safe manner, lowering the risk of the potential spread of infection.

2.) In order to protect our patients from any potential exposure to Covid 19, we have procured PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for all members of staff to use.

3.) We are using a triage system over the phone when you call to ensure that patients who may have experienced any recent Covid 19 symptoms do not attend the surgery for a period of at least 2 weeks.

4.) We encourage our patients to arrive at the time of their appointment (not too early), as to avoid any overlap with fellow patients and to also attend alone if that’s possible. 

5.) You will notice that we have modified our waiting room to ensure that the recommended social distance can be observed between patients.

6.) In both surgeries here we have installed a state of the art air filtration system.
     It is capable of filtering ultra-fine particles down to 14.6nm: far beyond 0.3 microns of traditional HEPA. Covid 19 particles are 10 times larger than this, so our new       system is highly effective in filtering these particles out of the air.
     It destroys and collects, The high electrical field inside Airdog kills all bacteria and viruses.
